The 12’s began their final tournament with iffy weather in Freetown’s Little Fenway Tournament. It was a messy game on Thursday, but Monomoy pulled off a sloppy win against Tiverton (5-2) with a superb pitching performance by Jackson Rocco.

With temps in the upper 90’s on Saturday, Monomoy was just as hot. They started off by no hitting Freelake (16-0) in the morning game and no hitting Bridgewater (17-0) in the afternoon game. Sunday’s play brought them a victory against Quincy (9-0) with timely hitting by Huse, Yarletts, and Laramee. Krystofolski and Hyora allowed only one hit in the decisive win.

The championship game was against Brockton and the Sharks were victorious (4-1). After Yarletts knocked in the first run of the game, Brockton struck back plating one themselves. Monomoy finally took the lead in the third with an RBI double by Huse. Hyora sealed the victory with a 2 run homerun in the 5th to make it a 4-1 game. Krystofolski took the mound in the in the 4th and proceeded to strike out the last 9 batters in order to secure the game.

Homeruns over the Fenway wall were by Krystofolski and Hyora.

Way to end the season Sharks!!
