LEAGUE NEWS
-Recently the HES fourth grade student council asked if they could play soccer on the grassy area in the baseball outfields. MLL has given them permission to “Feel free to enjoy the field!”. HES staff and students were very appreciative and sent us a note: “Thank you so much for Little League’s “neighborliness” and support of our boys and girls.”
-A few of our Monomoy players represented at last weeks session of Brewster Little League’s player clinics! For more information on those clinics or to sign up Click Here. There are still 5 more dates.
-Monomoy Little League is in discussions with Brewster Little League at the Majors level to set up some cross-town games during the season, both towns seem interested in trying this out.
EVALUATION DAY
All players make a team however; they must be evaluated to be placed on a team. The evaluation assists us in trying to balance the competitiveness of all teams.
Single A (ages 7-8) 11:30am-12:30pm
Double A (ages 9-10) 12:30pm-2:30pm
Majors (ages 11-12) 2:30pm-3:30pm
-Please come at your assigned times above and enter at the rear of the school. 6 year olds are only eligible if they are in the 1st grade. For convenience, siblings can come at the same time.
UMPIRES NEEDED!
We are looking for adults or players who have aged out but still want to be a part of MLL as umpires for the Double A Division. Great pay and there will be an umpire clinic available next month for training.
